Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Draft pending legal review. This template is for guidance and must be reviewed by a lawyer before the game is released. Details in [brackets] are still to be confirmed.

1. Who we are

This policy explains how we handle personal data in the Artilleros game for iPhone and iPad (the “Game”) and on the website https://playartilleros.com (the “Site”). The controller is Tikabu Studio LLC [CONFIRMAR al registrar la empresa], located in [Ciudad], Maryland, Estados Unidos [CONFIRMAR] (“we”). Privacy contact: privacidad@tikabustudio.com.

2. Summary

  • You do not need to create an account. Your progress is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud.
  • Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your card details.
  • Ads are optional and rewarded. They are only personalized with your permission.
  • Game analytics are anonymous: they measure how the game is played, not who plays it.
  • The Site uses no cookies or tracking tools.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

3. Data we process and why

3.1 Game data on your device

Settings, progress, coins, cosmetics and achievements are stored on your device. We do not receive them. If iCloud is on, the Game may store a copy in your iCloud account, which Apple manages under its own privacy policy.

3.2 In-app purchases (StoreKit)

Purchases are made with your Apple Account. Apple sends us what is needed to deliver and verify what you bought (product ID, transaction ID and date). We do not receive your name, email or payment details. Purpose: delivering purchases and letting you restore them.

3.3 Game Center (when available)

If you use Game Center for online play, leaderboards or achievements, Apple shares your player identifier and alias with the Game. We use them to match you with other players, show leaderboards and, in the future, for clans. You can sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings.

3.4 Rewarded ads

You only see an ad if you choose to watch one for a reward. Ads are served by a third-party ad network: [provider name, e.g. Google AdMob — CONFIRM]. It may process device data (model, operating system, language, approximate IP address, ad interactions) to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud.

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA): only used if you accept Apple's “Allow app to track” prompt (App Tracking Transparency). Otherwise, ads are not personalized with that identifier.
  • European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: before showing ads we ask for consent through a consent management tool. You can change your choice in the Game's Settings.
  • A one-time purchase turns ads off.

3.5 Anonymous analytics

To improve the Game we log usage events (for example: match start, tutorial completion, mode played, duration, errors). This data does not include your name, email or advertising identifiers and is processed in aggregate. Provider: [CONFIRM]. We do not use it for advertising or combine it with other data to identify you. [If offered: you can turn it off in the Game's Settings.]

3.6 Support

If you contact us, we process your email address, your message and anything you send (such as screenshots or your device model) to reply.

3.7 Pre-registration and newsletter

If you sign up on the Site, we process your email, language and preferred platform to notify you of the launch and send news. We use an email provider: [Brevo, Mailchimp or Kit — CONFIRM]. You can unsubscribe from any email.

3.8 Website

The Site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics. To count visits we use Umami, a self-hosted tool on our own server that sets no cookies and only stores aggregated data (page, country, device type and referring site) without identifying people. Like any web server, our server (Hostinger) may log technical data (IP address, date, page requested, browser) for security and operation. The trailer, once available, only loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) if you press “play”.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR (EU/UK) or the LGPD (Brazil) applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering purchases and providing the Game), consent (newsletter, personalized ads, tracking), legitimate interests (anonymous analytics, security, fraud prevention, support) and legal obligation (tax, requests from authorities). You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share data with

  • Apple (App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, Game Center).
  • Ad network [CONFIRM], for rewarded ads.
  • Analytics provider [CONFIRM], with anonymous or aggregated data.
  • Email provider [CONFIRM], for the newsletter.
  • Web hosting provider [CONFIRM].
  • Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data for money. If we ever enable personalized ads, some U.S. state laws may treat this as “sharing” data for targeted advertising; you will be able to opt out in the Game's Settings or by contacting us.

6. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and some providers process data in other countries. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

  • Device data: until you delete the app or its data.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months after the request is closed.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics: aggregated data indefinitely; raw events for up to [13 months — CONFIRM].
  • Web server logs: per the hosting provider [CONFIRM].

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, withdraw consent and opt out of targeted advertising. Email privacidad@tikabustudio.com. We will reply within the legal deadline (usually 30 days; 45 in several U.S. states). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

  • EU and UK: you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
  • Brazil (LGPD): you have the rights in Art. 18 and may contact the ANPD.
  • United States: several states (for example California and Maryland) grant rights to access, correct, delete and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our email; if you disagree with the outcome, you may contact your state Attorney General.

To protect your data, we may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity.

9. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Pre-registration on the Site is for people 16 and older. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it. [Review with a lawyer: if the age rating or content appeals to children under 13, apply the U.S. COPPA Rule requirements (amendments with a compliance date of April 22, 2026), show only non-personalized ads to children, and review Brazilian rules on protecting minors online.]

10. Security

We use reasonable measures: encrypted connections, limited access to data and providers with security safeguards. No system is 100% secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Game or by email.
